In the house at ul. Jerozolimska 3 in Tomaszów Mazowiecki there lived a textile industry entrepreneur – Alfred Joachim Aronson, his wife Wanda Bornsztajn, and their son Artur Adam (born 1934). During the war the Aronsons ended up in the Tomaszów Ghetto. Alfred became a member of the Jewish Police Service. As a Jewish policeman, he had to be at the disposal of the Germans during extermination actions. After the liquidation of the Ghetto the Aronsons were sent to the Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp. Only Alfred and his son – Artur Adam survived the Holocaust. Wanda Bornsztajn was murdered in Holocaust.
