Przemyśl, Władycze st. no.17, Podkarpackie region
Searching for a mezuzah trace in Przemyśl we saw an untouched metal plate, typical for pre-war mezuzahs. With the permission of the owner of the building, we opened the mezuzah and found an original mezuzah scroll. The scroll was found in time. In spring 2015 the front part of the building will be completly rennovated. The scroll was examined by a conservationist from the National Museum in Warsaw. Now it is kept in Mi Polin studio waiting for the right way to present it. The last Jewish owners of the building were Kreszower and Lakser.
Date of discovery: 27.12.2014
