The story hidden behind
the city
Dynów was a home town of Munkacs Chasidic Dynasty. The Dynasty was founded by Cwi Elimelech Szapiro, Rabbi of Dynów. Great Rabbi and his Family were burried at Dynów Jewish Cementery. Every year tens of thousands Chassidim are visiting Dynów due to Rabbi Szapiro yortzait. Some years ago thanks to Rabbi Pinchosa Pomp a Mosdos Bnei Issaschar was build in the area. This is all-year round hassidic centre that provides synagogue services, kosher mikveh and kosher restuarnat for guests. By this centre Jewish life is back to Dynów. No information about building and residents. Research in progress.
